Evening Headshots: October 17th

Zack Kassian seen during happier times, has more hair and all of his teeth.

 Zack Kassian during happier times; more hair, teeth intact and an unquenchable thirst for blood.

Here it is, Evening Head Shots, Episode 2: The Phantom...something or other. I'm back again, though some of you may not be happy about that, it's alright, it was nice to get a real negative reaction for once; I assume it was because I wasn't swearing nearly enough or because we all know that my Dad can kick the shit out of your Dad. Anyways, here we go.

A few hits from the Province tonight. Don't like it? Big whoop, wanna fight about it? The first thing I want to share is from yesterday, not quite sure how I missed it but apparently Ben Kuzma thinks that it’s alright to label NHL players who aren't Russian as enigmatic. You start pulling shit like this, Kuz and we gotta start rethinking the game.

Also from the Province we have a Canucks Hat Trick from Jim Jamieson that was written well before the start of today's game. Also, Jim Jamieson is a competitive eating champion. He eats old man soup at a tier 1 speed. While we're handing out awards, Ben Kuzma has the Van Provies tonight where John Tortorella talks highly of the city of Buffalo. What? Really? Fuck.

And for shits and giggles, why don't we just beat the fuck out of the Cody Hodgson/Zack Kassian story one more time, or at least until Buffalo is in Vancouver later this season. [The Province]

Even though the articles are right under this one, ICYMI, here are a couple of hits from the people at Canucks Army. Dimitri has the post game and Petbugs13 (I'll ask what his name is one day) has the graphic comment. Keep in mind that they're letting me do this, not because they were arrested and sentenced to service their community in a giving and productive way, but because I begged. I cried and I cried like a 10 year old girl. [Canucks Army]

For fun I think I'm just going to link to Nucksmisconduct. Yep, that's right, asshole. While you might think that this place is "going to the dogs" because I did the buzz for Nucksmisconduct, it doesn't mean the contributors there suck or this blog is going to dogs. So hey, you know, eat shit :)))))) [Nucks Misconduct]

To end things off tonight I'll send a nice little shout out to the folks at Canuckshockeyblog.com. Clay and co. are good people, and not just because he rescued me from a nasty jelly fish attack, or because his son kicks his ass at video game hockey and he doesn’t respond by not feeding his child, but because it's nice to toss one to the people who helped you out, even when they don’t need it. So, hey, check these guys out.

That's all for me tonight, folks. Enjoy, smile and maybe over time you will grow to accept me as one of your own. Thanks for reading!

I'm Mitch, I live in Port Coquitlam and it's not as shitty as you think. On occasion I write, usually some stuff about hockey with more swearing than you'll need. Follow me on twitter! @mitchemdee

Seriously... I can't take it anymore ... Somebody call me when Drance comes back. This blog has been on a downward spiral ever since he moved on. It sucks now and is pretty much complete waste of time with the sh*++y commentary and the trolls in the comments section.

So long, CA... It was fun while it lasted.

I guess it's PITB from now on.

@Kassassins Creed

Yes, there are nothing like that anywhere. It's a good thing that this stats-focused blog is dumbing down. Otherwise we might have two different kinds of things instead of the same thing everywhere.
