Hey that's a pretty sweet jersey, right?

Do you think you've got a high adjusted Corsi number, and want to show it off to the world? What better way to do that then by wearing a Chris Higgins jersey, signed by the play driving ab-master himself. Courtesy of the good folks at The Fan Zoo, the Official Memorabilia Partner of the Vancouver Canucks, we're giving one away, and just in time for the postseason!

Click past the jump to find out how to enter the draw, and why we're giving away a Chris Higgins jersey!

So why, you ask, are we giving away a Chris Higgins jersey? Of all the forwards on the Canucks, what makes him so special? Well, if you pay attention to the underlying numbers, Chris Higgins is among the best Canucks skaters at driving play and controlling puck possession. He's the ultimate glue guy!

Consider his impact on Ryan Kesler this season. When Kesler skates without Chris Higgins, he controls 53.8% of Corsi events - which, is about what you'd expect from one of the league's best two-way forwards. When Kesler skates with Chris Higgins, however, they control 58% of Corsi events, which isn't just a good number, it's complete dominance.

Kesler isn't the only centreman who Higgins has had this impact on, either. Take Samme Pahlsson, he's controlled 46.5% of Corsi events without Higgins, and with Higgins that number jumps to 51.6%. With Cody Hodgson, the number jumed from 48.9% to 55%. Higgins' underlying numbers indicate that he does the little things: winning puck battles and making smart passes, that contribute to the Canucks controlling the puck (and winning games). His impact doesn't necessarily show up in the boxscore, but if you look at who is helping the Canucks control play: he's right at the top of the list.

We're faithful to our hockey math at Canucks Army, and by the numbers Chris Higgins is among the team's most valuable skaters. To recognize his impact on the team, we've chosen him as a mascot of sorts, and in partnership with The Fan Zoo we're giving away a Chris Higgins signed sweater to celebrate the launch of our new Facebook page!

How do you enter to win the jersey? It's really simple, just go to Facebook.com/CanucksArmy and like our new facebook page! Everyone who "Likes" the Canucks Army page between now and Friday at noon pacific time will be entered into a draw, and on Friday afternoon we'll pick the winner!

If you think the Higgins jersey is cool, it's just the tip of the iceberg. The Fan Zoo is currently offering a new in-game and online auction experience, so I recommend signing up for The Fan Zoo's auction to see what other products are on offer. Sign up, bid and win!

A big thank you to the good folks at The Fan Zoo for supporting our launch, we're very pleased to be partnering up with them! On top of being awesome people, The Fan Zoo offers a wide array of products, from signed pucks, sticks and jerseys to framed photos. All items on sale include a Certificate of Authenticity to verify the signature.

If you're heading to Rogers Arena you can place your bid at The Fan Zoo kiosk located in 4 sections in the concourse, or bid right from your seat using your mobile phone. If you can't make it out to a game, don't worry, bid from home during both road games and home games!

I would love to add the Higgins jersey to my playoff rotation. The guy is clutch in the playoffs.
