Look at that picture. Just look at it. That's really all you need to know. "There's no hitting in the KHL." Phooey! Also we have the KHL's Top 10 goals, saves, and hits of the week.
Enjoy!
Zdeno Chara mangles Miroslav Satan's life and Satan is all pissed off about it. Watch the video to hear what Satan had to say about his countryman. Jakuv Voracek scores too, but Slovan still wins. Lev seriously can't buy a win this year.
After weeks of playing like poop, Pekka Rinne, dare I say, steals this one for Minsk. In other news, Tim Stapleton in unreal overseas.
The KHL's Top 10 Goals of the Week.
Top 10 KHL Saves of the Week
Top 10 KHL Hits of the Week
And both games in one!
There is no hockey...
... only Zuul.
Fantastic job as always fellas, keep it up!
Nice work guys. Careful, NHL... in the name of "growing the game" we might forget you exist if we have highlights of a comparable league...
I get a kick out of some of these guys who never checked their luggage in NHL but are beasts in the KHL . Great hi-lites guys but how about some fight hi -lites thrown in .
Chara destroys Satan, evil vanquished forever.
Will do. There usually aren't many but I'll keep it in mind. We've featured a few before.
Watching the highlights the game over there seems very focused at entertaining the fans........some soccer elements incorporated into the game.
Most entertaining highlights.......keep up the good work Steve! I like your format a lot.
i love the Batman guy dancing around in the Minsk game....we need some of that at Rexall
Unfortunately, Rexall MIB's would shut that sort of thing down right fast.
Это хоккей КHL очень хорошо! Если ТСН показали несколько игр на большом экране, НХЛ будет предложено получить сделку быстрее!
Nice hit by Chara on Satan and he proved he's got some slick hands with that setup pass to Voracek.
Are you guys planning to link up OKC Barons Highlights on here as well?
The only worthwhile* footage is on the Oilers site and it's probably protected by copyright.
*Worthwhile being a somewhat subjective term as the AHL has clearly not updated thir analog TV broadcasting technology from the 60's.
Thanks, that's what i figured, but in the infinite wisdom of the oilers internet wizards, you cannot watch the highlights on certain mobile devices.
The 1990 Russian team vs Mtl is hard to watch. Roy against the Russians and Mtl lack of firepower against weaker goalie is good. Mtl adapting on big ice is good. But commentary in Russian and the players jersey names are in Russian. I can't make out who is who...got 3 NFL games of the 2010 Falcons on DVD...Lots of hockey to pick from on DVDs over last few years...I didn't know there was a 1974 series...I wonder if Hull or Esposito was better. Hockey from 1972 on at elite levels looks modern to me. Looks like bigger ice with the smaller players.
