Headshots are a Canucks Army feature where we link to the day's freshest news, and other assorted Canucks web-goodies. If you've written a blogpost, produced a tribute video, birthed a clever .gif into existence, or have a hockey related cause you'd like to see promoted in this space - please e-mail Thom at thom.drance@gmail.com.

The biggest news emanating out of the NHL today was the cancellation of regular season games through October 24th. As Greg Wyshynski points out, that doesn't necessarily mean that an 82-game schedule can't happen, but an agreement would need to be reached in the next three weeks.

J.Bowman tries to remain positive through these difficult times, but it's pretty tough. He somehow still shows the wherewithal to mix Prab Rai, and Sandra Bullock into the same post. He's in midseason form!

Image Break! Our pal, Roberto Luongo Strombone, weighs in on the news regarding cancellation of games. His tweet may not even be tongue-in-cheek, though. Here are his October save percentage numbers over the past 5 seasons: .869, .907, .902, .902, .903. Who needs October, anyways?

Harrison Mooney "spitballs" on a variety of topics, including Ryan Kesler's injury, and the return of Tanner Glass.

Wyatt Arndt continued on with the fake season decided to take last night off, citing "work" and "life" as things that were stressing him. This just goes to show you - Kevin Paul Dupont was right all along. Bloggers really are bad people.

According to the twitter feed of News1130 Sports, the Rochester Americans have named Cody Hodgson as their captain for this coming season. That sound you're all hearing is Alain Vigneault throwing up in his mouth - wasting a perfectly good lozenge along the way.

On the team's official website, Mike Gillis posted a letter for the fans of the team. Over at Nucks Misconduct, a few revisions to said letter are made
