Headshots are a Canucks Army feature where we link to the day's freshest news, and other assorted Canucks web-goodies. If you've written a blogpost, produced a tribute video, birthed a clever .gif into existence, or have a hockey related cause you'd like to see promoted in this space - please e-mail Thom at thom.drance@gmail.com.

CA twitter-friend GayCanuck has a re-imagined WIcked he'd like to share with us all...(Hint, it stars Fehr & Bettman)

Credit to BuffaloSabresNation for turning our attention to this: following a pair similar videos that made the rounds this summer about Pavel Bure, the same user (WeatherWiseCDC) has posted an Alex Mogilny 'lost shifts' video to YouTube. Mogilny was truly a complete hockey player, who perhaps was somewhat underappreciated during his time Vancouver. Playing on a crappy team that offers you little incentive to work beyond the minimum will do that to you.

Seems the Canucks played some volleyball today:

Now, of course, I just can't help but think of this:

In all madness there is some blessing...or something. While considering his options (he's says he's waiting till December before deciding about Europe), Kevin Bieksa is doing his best to keep the vibe positive, despite the lack of NHL hockey: he's organized a charity 'Bieksa Buddies' game for October 17th at UBC.

Over at Nucks Misconduct, they have been running a little goalie-mask championship. Today it's the final, pitting Curt Ridley's stick-in-rink extravaganza against Gary Bromley mask of death...

And last, Ben Kuzma on the challenge facing prospect Anton Rodin as he begins his second North American season.

Trash it!

Mogilny was an awesome player. Didn't have Bure's flair or Fedorov's power or speed, but was crafty and deceptive - a lot like Datsyuk.
