Headshots October 29th

Oct 29, 2012, 20:10 EDTUpdated: Oct 29, 2012, 17:58 EDT

Headshots are a Canucks Army feature where we link to the day’s freshest news, and other assorted Canucks web-goodies. If you have written a blogpost, produced a tribute video, birthed a clever .gif into existence, or have a hockey related cause you’d like to see promoted in this space – please e-mail Thom at thom.drance@gmail.com.
Just draft me, will ya? Sometimes he writes for CA, but he’s especially known for writing for some other blog that uses green and blue as its colour scheme; check out Jordan Clarke’s first post in his series on the best all-time Canucks draft picks. Today he starts with the Canucks’ forgotten superstar–Patrik Sundstrom.
Seven points in three games is ok. Frank Corrado is the OHL Player of the Week. No word on if the award presenter was totally mesmerized by Corrado’s chocolate-brown eyes.
No news means it’s news. I think. Roberto Luongo explains that he’s not handed Mike Gillis a list and that everything is speculation as far as he knows. But we already knew that. We need the lockout to end, if only to give us other things to write about. Maybe we should say that Lu declaring his house is not on the market is good enough. Maybe not.
Tanev hurt. Blog-friend and Chicago journalist Paul LaTour reports that Chris Tanev’s absence from the last two games is because of injury, not Scott Arniel rotating through his enormous squad.
Leafs news can be Canucks news. When it’s Cam Charron writing about Tyler Bozak and his Lu-related trade value, it sure is. Here’s the stuff over at Leafs Nation.
