The Bruins visited the White House to celebrate their cup win, but all anyone wants to talk about is Tim Thomas not attending the photo-op to make a political statement. Thomas will tell the world exactly why he refused to attend with his teammates on his facebook page at 6 pm this evening. Wyshynski argues that Thomas shouldn't be villified for his political stand, and he's dead-on, but if Thomas' reason not to attend isn't eloquent and convincing, then Thomas will deserve all of the mockery he's likely to get. Spoiler Alert: Tim Thomas' reason for boycotting the ceremony will not be eloquent, or convincing.
