Alain Vigneault tells Matthew Sekeras that there are six or seven candidates to line up on the wings around Maxim Lapierre on the fourth line. This isn't mentioned in Sekeras' piece, but the likely names: Mancari, Pinnozotto, Bitz, Oreskovich, Nolan, Fedoruk, Volpatti. 

Loosely related: The Canadian Press on three (Fedoruk, Legace, Nolan) of the many vets on PTOs making a last gasp effort to earn a full-time spot on an NHL roster. Here's my "bold" prediction: none of the try-out veterans will make the team.
