Headshots are a Canucksarmy feature where we link to the days freshest news, and other assorted Canucks web-goodies. If you've written a blogpost, made a tribute video or birthed a clever .gif into existence - please e-mail me at thom.drance@gmail.com.

DrivingPlay - a fantastic analytical blog - concludes their season previews with a look at the "The Stanley Cup Favorites," who they see as: Washington, Chicago and your Vancouver Canucks.

Yep - season previews. It's the theme of tonight's head-shots. Nucksmisconduct has put together a mammoth preview, and Harrison "sour-puss" Mooney has a sunshine and lollipops Canucks season preview up over at PassittoBulis.

The great Jason Botchford nails this take on the unrepeatable season, and the confidence the Canucks took from it. Best part of the article: Daniel Sedin pointing out that the only time the Bruins really took liberties with them was when they were up big on home-ice.

Tony Gallagher has a suggestion for the Canucks: limit Salo's minutes you big dummies! While I agree, I'll bet the Canucks are turtling here, feigning ignorance when really they know exactly how they plan to rest the big Fin. My prediction: Salo-Edler will be the third pairing - at least in terms of even-strength ice-time - on most nights this season.

And to finish things off, it's your inevitable Canucks look to the Penguins - who they're playing on opening night! - for inspiration piece. Fun!

Thoughts: Edler and Ballard will be sharing Tanev time as Salo plays less. Or rather, Edler will get Ballard time.

We need to get better right side depth.
